After a rocky few years to say the least (two location moves, two family bereavements, the birth of a baby and a marriage breakdown) I landed in Winchester, newly separated with a 17 month old baby. Since the London commute to continue a career in PR & Communications was now logistically off the cards with a young son on board, it was time to brush up on my digital skills and launch myself in to life and work back in my home county of Hampshire! Through an online learning programme, (and a massive female empowerment kick!) WinchestHer was born across social media. The mission was to create an online community of strong and supported local Women; Be it Mother’s, Wives, Singles, Entrepreneurs, Daughters, Students and Women in Business, to tell the tales of all the amazing ladies living right on our doorstep, celebrating who we are and what we do. It soon became clear that WinchestHer was so much more than just a few pages on social networking sites. It had become a hub for women to find and share inspiration across the beautiful city of Winchester and beyond. That’s why I created our online magazine; From divorce to business ethics. Motherhood woes, to going-out shoes; WinchestHer.com will keep you in the loop on What’s On, Style, Beauty, Health & Fitness, Lifestyle & News, thanks to our in-the-know Collective. So you don’t miss out, join our WinchestHer Community so you can be the first to hear about our future parties and events.
